Sr Fullstack Developer

Job description  A Senior Engineer / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications and systems while taking full ownership of their work and providing technical leadership within the team. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide other developers. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, drives initiatives forward, and ensures code quality, performance, and scalability in a fast paced setting. Responsabilities  Technical Ownership & Leadership: Take initiative in planning, executing, and delivering high-quality software solutions while setting technical direction for the team. Design and Development: Architect, create, and implement advanced backend services (with a focus on Node.js) and contribute to frontend development using React and React Native. Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical guidance, coaching, and support to junior and mid-level developers to build overall team capability and knowledge. Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to define technical requirements, ensure alignment, and deliver robust solutions. Code Quality & Performance: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues; enforce best practices and code standards. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure software functionality, stability, and maintainability. Documentation: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of software architecture, code, and testing processes. Continuous Improvement: Introduce process improvements, promote best practices, and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.   Skills Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred, not required). 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong backend development experience with Node.js. Proficiency in frontend technologies, particularly React and React Native. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex code and performance issues. Proactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of projects end-to end. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and lead by example within a small, collaborative team. Prior experience in small teams or startup environments where adaptability and ownership are critical.
