The Accounting Person is responsible for performing daily financial and administrative tasks to support the accounting department using QuickBooks. This role ensures accurate recording of financial transactions, timely processing of payments, and maintenance of organized financial records. The position may support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping functions. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Recordkeeping Record financial transactions in accounting software. Pull the data from PrismHR into QuickBooks. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. 2. Reconciliation Reconcile bank accounts. Assist with audits and provide requested documentation. 6. Administrative & Compliance Maintain organized digital and physical financial records. Ensure compliance with accounting standards. Communicate professionally with internal staff. Requirements Education High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Good communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. Experience 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance preferred.
